Model Aeronautics at Its Best:

HRCC
President Jim Welborn and HRCC Treasurer Herman Groezinger are very different
people, but through long experience, they both have learned how to get the most
out of their sport.
First
of all; they both work very deliberately and systematically to get to the
flight line.
Using good habits, basic tools and custom-designed
restraining posts, Jim and Herman always make it their first priority to give
their spectators a wide margin of safety and themselves the elbow room they
need to systematically complete their well-rehearsed refuel, start, warm-up…
And safe taxi-to-the-runway routine...

This morning, Jim and Herman actually got started about
30 minutes apart in time, but, as the photos attest, they both followed exactly
the same step-by-step plan to get airborne...

They didn’t discuss it ahead of time, but when they
finally got airborne, they were both in exactly the same spot…
Doing exactly the same things...

Jim and Herman are well-established and
widely-recognized leaders in the Sport and Industry of Aeromodeling
and now we all can see why.
Success in every facet of life springs from dedication
and self-discipline… but most importantly, like Jim and Herman, you have to
clearly respect and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of what you do.
