How To Join

HRCC always welcomes new members.  You are cordially invited to visit our flying field, chat with the members and see what we have to offer.

Here are a just a few of the benefits of becoming an HRCC member:

  • - Friendly atmosphere.  Our many capable pilots enjoy sharing information and chatting about the hobby.
  • - Use of our well maintained flying field with north/south AND east/west runways.  You'll enjoy flying with us!
  • - Qualified instructors standing by to help you learn how to build your airplane and get it airborne, fly and land safely.
  • - Monthly membership meetings with interesting programs and post-meeting
    cookouts that provide an opportunity to chat and exchange ideas.
  • - Organized Fun Fly's for all skill levels allow pilots to demonstrate newly developed skills.
  • - Numerous other club activities designed to promote the enjoyment of radio controlled aircraft building and flying. 

    HRCC annual dues are as follows:

    • Regular Membership:  $100.00
    • Junior Membership:    $14.00 (under 18 years of age).

    Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) membership is a prerequisite for membership in the Highlands County Radio Control Club.  Most important among the many benefits of AMA membership is the liability insurance coverage provided.

    Here's How to Join:

    1.  First join the Academy of Model Aeronautics.   Download the AMA Membership Application, print it, fill it out and mail it to the AMA. 

    2.  Next, download the HRCC Membership Application.  Print it, fill it out and either mail or hand deliver it to our Club Treasurer:
